As with most of these supposed fulfilled prophecies, Psalm 72:10 falls apart when you read a couple of verses that precede it. It's akin to claiming that Jesus fulfilled a prophecy by riding on a donkey, ignoring that the donkey ride mentioned by the prophet was done after the enemies of the Jews had all been defeated.
And Jesus wasn't much into warrior scenarios. Nor were any of the enemies of the Jews defeated during his lifetime.
In this case, we have the following verses. I will use the KJV translation because correcting translations don't really matter at this point:
8: He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
9: They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
10: The kings of Tarshish and the isles shall bring presents; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
So, on the one hand, we have baby Jesus who hasn't actively done anything yet, but nurse with magi from other lands, pagans who came to worship him and brought gifts.
One the other hand, we has a Psalm where the protagonist is dominating the world, and his enemies destroyed ("lick the dust"). And only then will the king be acknowledged and tributes brought.
Without that dominating position, he would receive nothing.
And infant Jesus didn't dominate nor destroy.
So the claim that Jesus fulfilled this in Matthew 2:1 and 2:11 is false.
The form: "taking it out of context". "forcing a view". "Jesus didn't fulfill"
And here's the meme:
