Just prior to this verse, Abraham was interrupted from sacrificing his son, so God said (paraphrasing) "Because you did not withhold...I will bless you with numerous seed (descendants) and all of the other nations (who are not from you) will bless themselves by your seed (descendants) because you obeyed."
This verse is not only not messianic, (there is no such concept in the Torah), but it is not singling any individual descendent, but all descendants.
Furthermore, the promise that "all of the goyim of the earth will bless themselves by your seed" never happened.
And here's the clincher:
The claim is that Jesus fulfilled this prophecy in Matthew 1:1, which gives the lineage of his step-dad! Jesus definitely wasn't from the seed of Joseph (Mary's husband), so he could not have ever fulfilled the so-called "prophecy".
So the style here is: non-messianic, out of context, not fulfilled by Jesus.
Also a fun fact: at the time of the blessing, lineage was entirely patriarchal. And Jesus' Dad wasn't a descendant of Abraham within that view.
